Build complex toys and simple tools

We have skinks on our property. According to the Wikipedia, these are five-lined skinks, native to our region. They're harmless and often entertaining. We see them mostly in the garage and sometimes on our screened porch, where they work out on the ScreenMaster. Sometimes you see them out of the corner of your eye, skittering off into the shadows. But sometimes you see them as in these pictures, where they are stock still as if posing for me. I think that they believe that if they hold very still, I won't notice them. So I pretend not to, and we both win.
But wait! There's More! How about a bonus skink?
Some technical notes: The original picture was shot with a Leica C (typ 112). The post processing was done with Adobe Streamline 4, Adobe Illustrator 10, and LightZone 3.
